So they decided to make the announcement for one of their most anticipated final seasons of The Umbrella Academy.

The Umbrella Academy Season 4 has kept fans waiting for a long while and they are all curious to know what the show holds for them in the last season. First aired in February 2019 on Netflix, the show struck the right chord with audiences and enjoys a massive fanbase across the globe. The finale season became the most anticipated and fans are waiting for the release date as the uncertainty around the release late last year was the reason for a lot of tension. The pressure was high because season 1’s first half had already faced criticism for not having a hook, and the second half was praised for holding it all well. So the second season had to prove that the show wasn’t a one-trick pony and could be a franchise. The first episode of season 2 turned out to be a game-changer for the show as it jumped right into the narrative as the Hargreeves siblings dispersed in time to stop the apocalypse and make peace with this new life.

Here were the siblings being themselves while trying to process everything they had discovered about themselves. Finding love, looking for loved ones, and some still saving the world.

A Light Supper

A Light Supper leaves a lingering aftertaste after it ends and is a complete masterclass in how to develop multiple characters in one episode. The writers did a great job at building the characters around a very key twist in their lives. They meet their mysterious and despicable father and they realise a lot of things that they are about to face in their lives because of this very moment, while their respective characters are all growing fast.

This has to be one of the craziest episodes of the show. The Hargreeves are trying to go back to their original timeline and get back to their lives. In the failed attempt, they rather invite an entire clan of villains who are ready to kill them all from different timelines. Soon begins a battle, and the gore takes over. It is not an episode for the faint-hearted and can be easily called the darkest. But wait, there is not just brutality included; there is also a heartwarming reunion that happens here.

I Heard a Rumor

Season 1, Episode 8

What you were seeking is already in you and engraved in your history; this is what the team learned when they set out to find the person behind the apocalypse. Of course, I am not giving you any spoilers, but this is one of the most well-structured episodes in the history of television because, in a runtime close to 50 minutes, it shows tension at its peak, and in no time it makes you realise that you are moving towards the end of the season and the twists are about to get intense.

The Seven

Season 2, Episode 8

IMDb Score: 8.5

Who could have thought that the makers would choose the eighth episode of season 2 to make things even more difficult for the Hargreaves? At the onset is Number Five, who has planned to steal the time travel device from a past version of himself in a different dimension. The episode is gory, dark, and very funny when it comes to the all-over vibe of the episode.
