James Gunn Makes Many DCU Revelations

One has to be maximally zen not to have an interest in everything that is happening at DCU. The wing of Warner Bros that went through a massive revamp after James Gunn and Peter Safran took the boss chairs at the same has been the talk of the town for as long as many of us can even remember at the moment. While the projects that are all set to be the first chapter of the studio are in various stages of development, that is not stopping the rumour mill from churning over time. James has now decided yet again to log into Threads debunk some rumours and give some very exciting details.

The world has been hooked on every update about the prominent projects that include Superman: Legacy Creature Commandos, Peacemaker Season 2, Joker: Folie à Deux, and The Batman Part ll. Now the filmmaker, who is busy doing a whole lot of things at the studio while also directing Legacy and writing Peacemaker, has revealed many things about the lineup.

Superman Legacy Storyboard Is Ready!

James Gunn was asked on Threads about how he is managing so many things while also working on Superman: Legacy. The filmmaker revealed his schedule and while doing so, he revealed the storyboard is ready. When a fan was surprised and asked already, Gunn replied, “I’ve actually storyboarded the film a long time ago. I find having the storyboards done a few months before filming helps enormously in planning everything out, from scheduling to stunts to VFX and SFX. (Of course, things change during this time and through filming, but the foundation is strong.)”

Peacemaker 2 Script Is Almost Done!

Peacemaker is one of the most anticipated shows of all time and season 2 is right now holding all the attention of the fandom. When a fan asked for an update on the same, the filmmaker replied, “Good and I’m partway through episode 8, which is a banger.” That means the show will go on floors sooner than we expect.

The Batman Part II Not Cancelled!

The Batman Part ll is one of the most anticipated movies from the superhero realm, and Matt Reeves is busy shaping the film. The most shattering rumour about the film was that the studio is cancelling the sequel to the Robert Pattinson starrer. Now when a fan asked James Gunn for a confirmation, the filmmaker confirmed that it isn’t and shunned the rumour with a straight No.

Batman In Superman: Legacy?

Superman: Legacy will begin the live-action world of the DCU, and the anticipation is immense. So far, we have heard a bunch of characters making their way into the movie, and the latest rumour had that even Batman might join. However, James Gunn confirmed he isn’t. The filmmaker wrote, “Well, he can’t appear in Superman Legacy because he’s not in the script.”
