Bareilly Ki Barfi

Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Bareilly Ki Barfi stars Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. The 2017 film is based on Nicolas Barreau's novel, The Ingredients of Love. In this film, Rajkummar was seen as Pritam Vidrohi, while Kriti played Bitti Mishra. Ayushmann Khurrana was Chirag Dubey in the movie. If you missed watching it on the big screen, you can stream it now on Netflix.

Omerta

OTT platform - ZEE5

Rajkummar Rao played Ahmed Omar Saeed Sheikh, a British terrorist of Pakistani descent. Director Hansal Mehta's movie shed light on the 1994 kidnappings of Westerners in India for which Omar was arrested. The movie also highlighted Omar's plann of murdering a journalist. Omerta was released in theatres on May 4, 2018.

Shahid

OTT platform - Amazon Prime Video (on rent)

Written by Sameer Gautam Singh and Apurva Asrani, and directed by Hansal Mehta, it is based on the life of lawyer and human rights activist, Shahid Azmi. He was assassinated in 2010. Rajkummar Rao played the titular role in the film, which hit the silver screen on October 18, 2013. Shahid's star cast also includes Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Prabhleen Sandhu and Baljinder Kaur.

Kai Po Che!

OTT platform - Netflix

Abhishek Kapoor's film Kai Po Che! stars Rajkummar Rao, Amit Sadh and the late Sushant Singh Rajput. The official synopsis of the film on synopsis reads, "Fueled by different ambitions, three best friends in Ahmedabad start a cricket academy, but their bond and dreams are tested by tragedy and turmoil." It was released in theatres on February 22, 2013.

HIT: The First Case

Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra played pivotal roles in HIT: The First Case. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film was the remake of the 2020 Telugu movie of the same name. Rajkummar plays the role of a cop, battling with his traumatic past, and has to solve the case of a girl who goes missing in Hyderabad.
