Satya on SonyLIV

We all remember the iconic dialogue, "Mumbai ka king kaun? ... Bhiku Mhatre", thanks to Manoj Bajpayee's character and the way he performed it. The suspenseful cult thriller Satya was produced and directed by Ram Gopal Varma. The movie's premise centers on Satya (JD Chakravarthy), who becomes entangled in the criminal underworld following an incident at the dance bar. When he joins the local don Bhiku Mhatre's (Manoj Bajpayee) group, the plot gets more complicated. The film also has a parallel plot that centers on the love story of Satya and Vidya (Urmila Matondkar). In the revenge drama Gangs of Wasseypur, directed by Anurag Kashyap, Sardar Khan (Manoj Bajpayee) seeks to kill Ramadhir Singh (Tigmasnhu Dhulia) to exact revenge for the death of his father.
